FitWood of Scandinavia has acquired a new retailer in Sweden following a round of spring negotiation. Budo & Fitness is a brick and mortar and online retailer, with stores across Sweden. It has operated since 1992, and is a country leader in the sale of martial arts equipment.
FitWood produces sustainable fitness equipment with a Scandinavian design focus. As a focal point of Scandinavian culture and cultural progression, Sweden is key both in building sales for the company and proving its concept.
“We’re extremely happy to have gained another valued sales partner while expanding our reach in Sweden. We believe FitWood products will resonate strongly with customers in the Nordic and Scandinavian countries, especially among those who value interior design and healthy living — that makes Sweden a key market for us. Expanding close to home will build up an important base as we continue to push expansion further and further from Finland.” — Emil Ramlert, Scandinavian Business Leader for FitWood.
The martial arts and fitness retailer offers a range of 6000 products across brick and mortar, online and wholesale divisions, with annual turnover of €10 million. The company promotes regularity and results-based training.
